For the sixth consecutive year, employees from Tucson area fire departments and other local professionals are volunteering their time to host the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) Tucson Benefit Dinner and Golf Tournament. The dinner and golf tournament is annually attended by firefighters from Southern Arizona, business community leaders, and local dignitaries. This year’s benefit is one of over 40 similar events occurring across the country the same week to benefit the NFFF.

We are pleased to report that last year our event was one of the leading events in the country regarding funds raised for the Foundation and local firefighter health and safety causes. We are looking forward to an even more successful event this year! This year’s benefit activities will be kicked off Friday, June 8th with the Safety Seminar, followed by the silent auction and benefit dinner. Our venue for the event will once again be hosted at the top-rated JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson. Starr Pass will be offering terrific rates for those who want to spend a night or more as part of the event. Click here to reserve a room!

Over 300 people attended the dinner last year and, as in previous years, this year’s benefit dinner will be preceded by a silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will go towards advancing local firefighter health and safety.

The golf tournament registration will begin at 6 am on June 9th, with an opening ceremony and shotgun start at 7 am sharp. The tournament sells out each year so register early to secure your spot! This year’s tournament includes lunch and raffle prizes as well as first, second, and third place trophies.

Please see the sponsorships page for all the information you need to participate in our 2012 event! We are also actively seeking items and services for the silent acution.
